Alongside the picture, John wrote a heartfelt caption, expressing that not a day goes by where Jett is not with him. The photo was captured in 1997 while the family visited Kelly on the set of her film Addicted to Love.

Jett Travolta tragically passed away in January 2009 during a family vacation in the Bahamas. At the age of 16, he suffered a seizure that caused him to hit his head on the bathtub at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel. John spoke about the devastating loss in a 2014 interview with Us Weekly, describing it as the worst thing that has ever happened in his life. He admitted that he didn’t know if he would make it through the grief, but eventually found the strength to continue living.
In July 2020, John’s world was shattered once again when his beloved wife Kelly lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 57. The couple had been married since 1991 and had two children together, Ella and Benjamin. Despite the immense pain and loss he has experienced, John continues to honor the memory of his loved ones and find strength in the support of his family, friends, and fans.
