Singer-songwriter Angela McCluskey, known for her mesmerizing music and appearances in popular TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy, has tragically passed away. The news was shared on her Instagram account, where she was fondly described as “the rainstorm that never ends.” Her loved ones expressed their devastation, stating that Angela lived life to the fullest and loved and sang with great passion. She will be deeply missed by her husband Paul, her siblings Gerard, Alan, and Muriel, as well as her family and friends. A GoFundMe account has been set up to support Paul with medical and personal expenses, with a goal of $85,000 (£66,714).

Angela, originally from Scotland, moved to California to pursue her career and co-founded The Wild Colonials with Paul, Scott Roewe, and Shark in 1992. She later found success in Paris and collaborated with Télépopmusik. Their track ‘Breathe’ achieved commercial success and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2004. Angela’s first solo album, The Things We Do, was released that same year, solidifying her place in the hearts of many.

Rain Phoenix, sister of the late actor River Phoenix, paid tribute to Angela, describing her as a powerful and stylish talent with a beautiful voice. Shirley Manson, former member of the band Garbage, also honored Angela as a Scottish treasure and a world-class talent.
