A Place in the Sun presenter Ben Hillman shocked viewers on Tuesday’s episode as he abruptly walked off during a house search. Ben was assisting Liv from Wiltshire in finding her dream holiday home on the west coast of Cyprus. With a budget of £87,000 and the help of her friend Daisy, Liv had specific requirements for her ideal property. She desired a two-bedroom apartment near the sea with a communal pool and modern amenities. Ben wasted no time and presented the first option, a two-bedroom apartment in Argaka priced at £83,000. Liv was immediately impressed, exclaiming, “It is completely what I’m looking for.” The property had a balcony with a stunning view and a spacious living area. Ben playfully pretended to walk off, only to turn back and declare it a great start. The girls were equally amazed, describing the apartment as “beautiful” and agreeing that it could be the perfect home. Ben couldn’t help but joke that his job was already done.

Undeterred by their initial success, Ben continued to show Liv and Daisy four more properties. Although they were impressed with most of them, none seemed to match the standards set by the first apartment. However, the final property captured their hearts. Priced at just under £94,000, it featured a spacious living space. Despite the kitchen needing some work and having poor views, Liv was determined to make an offer. She initially offered £80,000, but the vendor rejected it, stating that they wouldn’t go below £85,000. Liv’s final offer of £82,000 was accepted, securing her dream holiday home.
