Spencer Matthews, former star of Made in Chelsea, has responded to concerns from female followers about his appearance. The 35-year-old reality TV personality is currently training for a world record endurance run and claims to be the healthiest he has ever been. However, his social media page is filled with women questioning if he is okay. In a lengthy Instagram post, Spencer addressed these concerns, stating that they are misplaced and unhealthy. He reassured his followers that he is fit, well, and extremely happy. Spencer also mentioned that he is training for a charity run to raise money for those in need.

Spencer’s wife, Vogue Williams, showed her support for him in the comments section of his post. The couple has been married for six years and has three children together. Spencer emphasized that his training for the endurance run is not punishment but rather a sign of progress. He urged people not to mistake his physical exertion for being unhealthy, as it brings excitement and purpose to his life. He pointed out that when he struggled with alcohol and was overweight, he never received messages of concern. Spencer concluded by advising people not to comment on others’ appearances and to understand that there may be reasons for their differences. For him, it is because he has found a healthy lifestyle.

Spencer rose to fame on the reality TV show Made in Chelsea. Since leaving the show nine years ago, he has been candid about his troubled relationship with alcohol. Earlier this year, he admitted that he could have died due to his excessive drinking, consuming up to 10 pints of beer a day while working as a trader. Being on Made in Chelsea exacerbated his drinking problem. In 2018, after a moment of clarity when he found himself drinking alone, Spencer decided to quit alcohol. His wife, Vogue Williams, played a significant role in his journey to sobriety.

‘I had a bottle of whiskey,’ he confessed in an interview with Vogue’s Taboo Talk podcast. ‘I was completely drunk. The next day, I woke up and realized that I didn’t want this in my life anymore.’ He also acknowledged that he could have lost his wife, Vogue, if he hadn’t made a change. Now, Spencer claims that he can drink in moderation.

In a recent post on her podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, Vogue expressed her love for her husband of six years, saying, ‘I think you’re amazing ❤️.’ The couple co-host their popular podcast, Spencer and Vogue, where they share stories about their lives and marriage, often with plenty of laughs.

In addition to his appearances on various TV shows like Celebrity Bake Off, Celebrity Masterchef, The Jump (where he and Vogue first met), and Pilgrimage: The Road To Wild Wales, Spencer has his own podcast called Big Fish. On this podcast, he discusses his relationship with alcohol and his journey to creating his own brand of non-alcoholic spirits, CleanCo.
