Prince Harry is set to travel to the U.K. alone to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, while Meghan Markle and their two children will not be joining him due to security concerns. The royal family, however, seems to have a different perspective on Meghan’s absence.

Some palace staffers have criticized Meghan for not accompanying Prince Harry to Nigeria after his Invictus Games event in the U.K. Her absence has been noted, and she will be missing an important event in Harry’s Invictus diary, as well as the opportunity to support her father-in-law. Meghan and Harry have expressed concerns about their safety, but the palace has not taken any action, despite Harry’s willingness to cover the expenses.

A palace insider has disregarded Meghan and Harry’s reasoning, pointing out that it is strange for Meghan to have time to join Harry in Africa but not to come to England where she has family. This might indicate that Nigeria is more accommodating to their security needs. The couple has not made any claims about their lives being in danger in the U.K.

Former Assistant Commissioner for Specialist Operations for the Metropolitan Police, Neil Basu, has previously stated that Harry and Meghan were constantly under threat during their time working for the palace. The online rhetoric and threats they received were significant and very real.

MEGHAN DONE WITH UK FOR GOOD: NO MORE DRAMA!

In a shocking revelation, The Express claims that Meghan Markle is officially done with the United Kingdom. The reason? She simply cannot handle the drama associated with the royal family any longer. However, all hope is not lost. If the palace were to stand up for Meghan and Prince Harry in the British tabloids and address the security concerns, there may be a chance for the couple to feel safe in the UK once again. But for now, Meghan is prioritizing her peace and has decided to skip Harry’s latest trip overseas.
