Fornite Removes Yoda for Game Crashes

He might be cute, but he’ll crash your game. A viral video on YouTube shows the disastrous consequences of using the Yoda back bling with the Zoidberg emote in Fortnite. This leaked Fortnite roadmap has accurately predicted recent collaborations, including the Star Wars takeover on Fortnite Day. However, one cosmetic item, when paired with the Zoidberg emote, is causing major issues. Equipping the Yoda back bling and performing the Zoidberg emote can crash your game and potentially others’ games as well. As a result, Fortnite has decided to remove the item altogether. A Twitter video posted by Fortnite content creator iFireMonkey demonstrates the crash in action. Epic Games, the developer and publisher of Fortnite, has acknowledged the glitch and is currently investigating the matter. In the meantime, they have temporarily disabled the Yoda back bling and removed Yoda, Disassembled C-3PO, and Dagobah Luke from the shop.

This isn’t the first time emotes have caused trouble in Fortnite. Epic Games recently added an option to turn off “controversial emotes” to prevent player upset. The Yoda glitch is a significant issue that needs to be addressed, especially if it affects other players’ games. However, there is currently no fix, and time is running out as the Star Wars collaboration ends on May 14th in Battle Royale.
