Eurovision Fans React to Cheeky Jibe at France

Eurovision fans were left in stitches during Thursday night’s semi-finals as hosts Malin Akerman and Petra Mede introduced the upcoming acts. The international competition couldn’t resist making a playful dig at France while announcing the qualified countries. Viewers were shown three women, representing Italy, Spain, and France, in what appeared to be a pageant. When the last contestant screamed “France,” it was a hilarious reference to the viral video from the 2018 Miss Universe pageant. The hosts and commentator Rylan Clark found the joke amusing, and social media users joined in on the laughter.

Croatia Emerges as Front Runner in Eurovision

According to the latest odds, Croatia is the current favorite to win the Eurovision competition. Alex Apati from Ladbrokes stated that Croatia is expected to make a big impact this weekend, with Baby Lasagna as the odds-on favorite to go all the way in Saturday’s final. However, there is also increasing interest in Ireland, resulting in their odds being slashed from 14/1 to just 9/1 in the last 24 hours. Eurovision can be watched on BBC iPlayer for those who don’t want to miss out on the excitement.
