Easter Sunday is always a big day for the royal family when it comes to appearances. Fans are used to seeing them in their holiday best as they attend religious services at Windsor. However, this year was different. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s young family was notably absent due to Kate’s recent cancer diagnosis. They are spending their children’s school vacation week at Amner Hall on the Sandringham Estate. King Charles III did attend the services amid his own cancer battle, but he made the decision to allow Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson to join the royal family photo opportunity. This move has raised eyebrows.

Social media users were quick to call out the royal family and their alleged hypocrisy in how they treat Andrew compared to Prince Harry. One user wrote, “It’s stunning to see #PrinceAndrew seen as emblematic of the monarchy but Prince Harry seen as someone who sullies the institution? Truly, values are overturned as the world seems to be going mad.” It is no secret that Prince Andrew’s association with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is highly problematic. Another account added, “Well, it’s the UK – where people like Andrew are protected no matter what.”

The optics are not great for the royal family, and it seems they have taken notice. After letting Andrew parade around on the walk to church, he was notably missing from the official snapshots released by the palace. The caption on the royal family’s Instagram account reads, “The King and Queen, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and other members of the Royal Family attended the Easter Mattins Service at St George’s Chapel today.” King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Prince Edward were all featured in the carousel, but Andrew and Sarah were noticeably scrubbed. It is surprising that Andrew was included at all, considering his 2019 BBC Newsnight interview is about to receive attention again due to Netflix’s movie, Scoop, premiering on Friday, April 5. In the movie, Rufus Sewell portrays Andrew, and it does not paint him in a flattering light. After watching the press screener, he is portrayed as a delusional royal who seems proud of himself after the disastrous interview.

With the royal family facing struggles in the press and behind palace walls, it is surprising that they chose to have Prince Andrew represent them in any capacity.

The mother of Princess Beatrice’s stepson has opened up about the unique experience of co-parenting with a member of the royal family. In an exclusive interview, she shares the challenges and joys of raising a child alongside royalty.

Co-parenting is never easy, but when one of the parents is a royal, the dynamics can be even more complex. The mother, who wishes to remain anonymous, reveals that while there are certainly challenges, there are also many incredible moments that come with being part of such a unique family.

“It’s definitely a different world,” she admits. “There are certain expectations and protocols that we have to navigate, but at the end of the day, we are just two parents trying to do what’s best for our child.”

The mother also shares that Princess Beatrice has been incredibly supportive and understanding throughout the co-parenting journey. “She has been a rock for us,” she says. “We may come from different backgrounds, but we all share the same love for our child.”

Despite the occasional scrutiny from the public, the mother remains focused on providing a loving and stable environment for her child. “We try to shield him from the media attention as much as possible,” she explains. “At the end of the day, he’s just a little boy who deserves a normal childhood.”

As for the future, the mother is hopeful that co-parenting with a royal will continue to be a positive experience. “We are committed to working together and putting our child’s needs first,” she says. “That’s what matters most.”

In a world where fairy tales and reality often collide, this mother’s story sheds light on the challenges and triumphs of co-parenting with a royal. It’s a reminder that, at the end of the day, love and family are what truly matter.
