ROYAL FANS IN AWE AS JAMES, EARL OF WESSEX, MAKES RARE APPEARANCE WITH KING CHARLES AT EASTER SERVICE

King Charles made his first public appearance since his cancer diagnosis last month, and royal fans couldn’t help but notice how “grown up” James, the Earl of Wessex, looked by his side. The Easter Sunday church service saw a smaller group in attendance compared to previous years, with the absence of the Princess of Wales, who recently revealed her own cancer diagnosis in a heartfelt video message. Among the attendees were Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, and Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, accompanied by their 16-year-old son, James.

As the nephew of King Charles and the youngest grandson of the late Queen, James looked dapper in his suit. Standing taller than his mother, Sophie, and almost as tall as his father, Edward, royal followers couldn’t help but comment on his noticeable growth. Fans took to social media to express their astonishment, with one saying, “Oh my God, James is so grown up,” and another noting, “Can we talk about the height of James, Earl of Wessex, huh?” It seems that James is following in the footsteps of his father and might even surpass him in height.

James, who is Lady Louise Windsor’s younger brother, currently holds the 15th spot in line to the throne. Despite living a predominantly private life, he has made appearances at significant events such as the Commonwealth Games, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and the King’s Coronation. Born in December 2007, James became the Earl of Wessex last year when his parents were bestowed the titles of Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

Today, as the King and Queen Camilla arrived for the service, James stood shoulder-to-shoulder with his father, capturing the attention of onlookers. The King, dressed in a dark coat and blue tie, happily waved at the small crowd gathered outside St George’s Chapel. In response to someone shouting “Happy Easter,” Charles waved his arm and cheerfully replied, “And to you.” It was a heartwarming sight for all in attendance, as the royal family came together to celebrate the Easter holiday.
