Frankie Bridge, known for her appearances on Loose Women, shared an embarrassing incident about her driving today. During a conversation with her co-hosts on the show, she revealed that a member of the public had called her out for causing a traffic jam on her way to the studio. The former Saturdays star admitted feeling “mortified” about the situation and discussed the importance of transport etiquette.

She explained, “Actually, this morning I got told off by a member of the public. I was in my car driving here and I was stuck at a junction where I had to come out from the lights but there was traffic coming from the left. But where I had to go on the right, there was one of those yellow boxes. So I couldn’t go into it, so the lights kept changing and I was still stuck there. And I was thinking, ‘Oh god, what am I going to do?’ Because every time it was my turn to go, a car came from the left… And there was traffic behind me.”

Frankie then shared that a fellow driver approached her car to inquire about the delay. She recounted the incident, saying, “This woman appeared at the window and knocked on the window. I was like, ‘Ooh!’ and put the window down and she was like, ‘Excuse me? The lights have changed three times… Can you move?’ And I was like, ‘But the box! I can’t go because of the traffic…’ And she was like: ‘You’re allowed to go in that spot there.’”

The Loose Women star admitted her confusion about the traffic rules and her fear of causing further congestion. She confessed, “I was just scared. She was really nice about it. I put the window back up and then I was just so mortified. And then I felt really guilty and then managed to go on the second light change or something like that.” Frankie also shared that she tends to avoid conflicts and mentioned that if she were in the same situation as the driver behind her, she would have patiently waited.

Frankie’s driving mishap was met with laughter from the audience. Loose Women airs on ITV1 and ITVX at 12:30pm on weekdays.
