The race – or your marathon pub crawl – comes to an end at Buckingham Palace. Mile 24 brings us to The Blackfriar, located at 174 Queen Victoria St, London EC4V 4EG. This pub is known for its unique building and fascinating history, standing tall since 1875. Situated on the grounds of a Dominican friary, it boasts mosaics, ornamental balconies, and a guardian black friar above the entrance.

Moving on to Mile 25, we arrive at Walkers of Whitehall, found at 15 Whitehall, London SW1A 2DD. This distinguished pub, situated near Trafalgar Square, features vaulted ceilings and comfortable banquette seating. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a beer while tracking your runner’s progress during their final two miles. However, if you’ve already visited all the other pubs, it might be wise to opt for a refreshing water instead.
