Law and Order Organized Crime is making a comeback, but with a major change on the horizon. The spin-off series, which follows Detective Elliot Stabler after his departure from SVU, has been renewed for a fifth season. However, the biggest difference is that it will no longer air on NBC. Instead, it will be exclusively shown on the network’s streaming service, Peacock. This move comes as a result of the show’s relatively low ratings and multiple changes in showrunners.

In addition to the change in network, Organized Crime will also have a shorter season compared to its sister shows. While previous seasons had the standard 22 episodes, season five will consist of just 10 episodes. This downgrade is due to the lack of ratings in the fourth season, which only had 13 episodes.

This is not the first time a Law and Order spin-off has switched networks. Law and Order Criminal Intent, which originally aired on NBC, moved to the USA Network for its final four seasons.

As of now, an official return date for Organized Crime and the rest of the Law and Order franchise has not been announced. However, fans can still watch the franchise on NBC.
