Jason Manford wows viewers in hosting debut on Have I Got News For You
Comedian Jason Manford, 42, received rave reviews as he made his hosting debut on the latest episode of Have I Got News For You. Joining regular panelists Ian Hislop and Paul Merton, Manford welcomed Labour MP Jess Phillips and stand-up comedian Glenn Moore as guests on the show. Prior to the episode, Manford took to Instagram to encourage fans to tune in, posting a photo of himself in the hosting seat. Manford’s hosting skills were well-received by the audience, with many predicting his return to the show. In response to a viewer’s comment about Manford’s paycheck, the comedian defended himself, stating, “As if I’d do it for such a little amount.” The viewer jokingly suggested that Manford attends events for a minimal fee, to which Manford replied, “Only events I go to are mainly for charity so yes you’re right, it would’ve been for free.” When the viewer claimed that Manford rarely speaks about his charity work, the comedian emphasized that the public is only aware of a fraction of his charitable endeavors, adding, “Look at all the attention I’ve given you for example, little night off for your family. I’m all heart.”
