Over the course of six gripping episodes, viewers were taken on Dr Nolan’s journey back to China on a flight, where he faced extradition for the murder of Shen Zhao (Elaine Tan) during a business trip. However, the flight quickly turned into a nightmare as Dr Nolan’s business associates were brutally killed.

Air marshal Toni Zhang (Dan Li) became suspicious and accused Dr Nolan of being the mastermind behind the murders. Despite his protests of innocence, the evidence seemed to stack against him. But as the thrilling series unfolded, it became clear that he was being framed for a crime he did not commit.

In a shocking twist, it was revealed that CIA agent Mike Maxwell (Mido Hamada) and his colleagues were responsible for Shen’s death. Their motive? To obtain incriminating information she possessed. Little did they know that Shen had already disposed of the evidence by implanting a nano SIM card into Dr Nolan during a nightclub encounter in Beijing.

As Hana realizes Dr Nolan’s innocence and finds herself also being framed, they take matters into their own hands. With the help of Madeline Delaney (Lesley Sharp), who is romantically involved with Mike, they manage to divert the plane back to the UK. Unbeknownst to them, the US embassy, where they seek refuge, is actually under the control of the very person they are trying to escape.

The finale of Red Eye left viewers on the edge of their seats and craving more. Will Dr Nolan and Hana be able to expose the truth and bring those responsible to justice? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more thrilling adventures from this captivating series.
