In a candid interview with The i Newspaper, Good Morning Britain star Sean Fletcher has shared his thoughts on reaching the age of 50. The journalist, who recently celebrated his milestone birthday, took to his official Instagram page to reflect on this new chapter in his life. With over 22,000 followers, Sean expressed his gratitude for the well wishes and commented on how he has already dealt with his midlife crisis.

Fans flooded the comments section with messages of support and birthday greetings. Many praised Sean’s youthful appearance, while others shared their own experiences of turning 50. It seems that age is just a number for Sean and his supporters.

In his interview, Sean admitted that he used to view turning 50 as an “unwanted landmark” and believed that people in their fifties had “given up on life.” However, he revealed that he had already faced his midlife crisis before his 40th birthday when he made the transition to Good Morning Britain. This career move was a significant step for Sean, who had previously worked as a presenter for Sky Sports News.

Since then, Sean has also hosted other popular shows such as Sunday Morning Live and Countryfile. While he prefers to keep his personal life private, it is known that he has been happily married to Luned Tonderai since 1999.
