The presenter, who is married to Hollyoaks star Adam Rickitt, shared this information with viewers. Adam, who used to play Kyle Kenny on the soap, and Katy have been married since 2014. Their love story began when Katy went to interview Adam in 2011. What was supposed to be a short interview turned into a five-hour chat, and they instantly connected. Adam even described it as “love at first sight” and knew he wanted to marry Katy.
The couple tied the knot in December 2014, but there was a bit of uncertainty on Katy’s part. While Adam knew she was “the one” from the start, Katy wasn’t sure if she felt the same. She revealed on Loose Women that Adam told her he loved her right away and introduced her to his mom within a week, which caught her off guard. Despite her initial panic, their love story blossomed, and they have been happily married ever since.
