Formerly madly in love Stephen Lustig-Webb has shocked everyone with his unexpected decision to join the cast of the upcoming Celebs Go Dating series. After splitting from his partner Stephen last year, their shared house in Brighton is now up for sale, leaving him single and ready to mingle once again.

In response to the reports, Stephen simply exclaimed, “This is gonna be fun!” The popular Channel 4 star, who has a massive following of 278,000 on Instagram, will be joining the likes of Ella Morgan from Married At First Sight (MAFS) and ex-Corrie star Helen Flanagan as they embark on their quest for love.

Now that he’s no longer on Gogglebox, there won’t be any conflicts with filming schedules, allowing him to fully commit to the show and focus on rebuilding his life after the split. Fans are already buzzing with excitement, with one even demanding, “Find me a date with Stephen!”

However, not all fans are thrilled about his search for love, as one Instagram user argued, “Think it’s wrong to be on a show like this so soon after a so-called break-up! But who knows what goes on behind closed doors?” Another agreed, saying, “Bloomin’ heck that was quick! You were married ffs! Ah well, good luck in your ventures!” A third chimed in, “So sad you broke up with your partner, you two seemed so cosy!” Meanwhile, a fourth questioned his integrity.

Despite the criticism, there are also supporters cheering him on, defending him against judgmental comments and wishing him the best of luck in finding his perfect match.

In the casting trailer, Stephen can be seen reflecting on the challenges of living a TV romance, saying, “Watching a TV romance is easy. Living it? Not so much.” He is joined by singer and actress Jamelia, who admits, “I’ve hit the high notes in music and drama, but when it comes to love, I think I need a few pointers.” Another eligible celebrity joining the show is Tristan Phipps, a former safari guide at South Africa’s Kruger National Park, who gained attention after appearing on Made in Chelsea. He reveals, “They say Chelsea life is glamorous, but sadly it hasn’t quite equated to my love life, so we’re here to find love with the experts!”

Former MAFS star Ella Morgan made a stunning appearance at the BAFTAs afterparty, leaving fans wondering about her relationship status. The 29-year-old beauty was seen sharing a kiss with Bobby Brazier, but it seems she is currently on the lookout for love. Taking to Instagram, Ella expressed her excitement about her connection with Stephen, stating that they are destined to be best friends. With these celebrity singles joining the upcoming season of Celebs Go Dating, sparks are sure to fly.

Helen Flanagan, who recently ended her 13-year relationship with Manchester City footballer Scott Sinclair, will also be part of the dating show. The mother of three opened up about her struggles after the breakup, revealing that she experienced psychosis. In a bold and braless photoshoot, Helen posed in a striking crimson dress, questioning who will be there to support her as a single mom.

Adding to the mix is Barbie actor and Love Island contestant Chris Taylor. Playfully describing himself as a “trout out of water” when it comes to finding a girlfriend, Chris wonders if he is “Kenough” to win someone’s heart.

Get ready for the drama and romance as Series 13 of Celebs Go Dating premieres on Channel 4 soon. Stay tuned for more updates on these famous singles and their quest for love.
