Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left outraged as Simon Cowell abruptly halted an act during the latest episode. The judging panel, consisting of Simon, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon, watched a variety of talents grace the stage. One performer, charity fundraiser Ace Clurk, 29, showcased his vocal abilities. However, Simon interrupted his performance before he even reached the chorus, claiming the key was off and that Ace seemed nervous. Despite his criticism, Simon acknowledged that Ace was an interesting act and asked if he had a second song prepared. Ace confirmed that he did and proceeded to sing Billie Eilish’s “Lovely”. The crowd erupted in applause after his second attempt, with Amanda praising his incredible vocal range. Simon, however, remained unsure about the act, stating that not everyone would appreciate it. Despite his reservations, Alesha, Bruno, and eventually Simon himself, voted in favor of Ace, granting him four “yes” votes and securing his spot in the next round of the competition.

Fans Slam Simon Cowell for “Fake” Behavior on Britain’s Got Talent

Fans of Britain’s Got Talent were left furious with judge Simon Cowell after his actions during a recent act. Viewers took to Twitter to express their anger, with one even calling the show “fake.” The controversy arose when Simon asked the performer to sing another song, a move that many believed was staged. One disgruntled viewer tweeted, “Oh f*** off Simon #bgt he’s doing exactly the same as he did on X factor and get them to do another song. This is soooooo staged.”

The frustration continued as fans recalled a similar incident on Simon’s other show, The X Factor. Louis Walsh, Simon’s co-judge, had previously revealed that the request for another song was planned. One Twitter user commented, “Louis already told us this request for another song is staged – so quit it with the fake nervousness everyone #BGT.” Another fan added, “This series is the most fixed! #bgt #britainsgottalent really thinking giving the live shows a miss tbh.”

The disappointment was palpable as another viewer wrote, “Oh FFS 2nd song here we f*****g go Utter fix #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.” It seems that the “Have you got a second song?” tactic has been used before, leading many to question the authenticity of the show. Despite the controversy, there were still fans who enjoyed the audition. One supporter tweeted, “Ace you are Ace man! #BGT.” Another expressed excitement for the performer’s future, stating, “Bruno is right – Ace showed slight nerves but he’s got good potential. I can’t wait to see what he does next #BGT.”
