EUROVISION FANS SLAM TINY STAGE SET-UP AHEAD OF SONG CONTEST

Eurovision fans have expressed their disappointment with the small stage set up for the upcoming song contest. The event, which will be held in Malmo, Sweden next month, has left many fans scratching their heads. Despite the expected influx of tourists to the city, the Eurovision Village stage has left fans underwhelmed. The main stage, in particular, has been criticized for its size compared to previous years. Photos of the stage, which is still being assembled, have been circulating online, drawing comparisons to the massive stage seen in Liverpool last year. Some fans have even joked that it resembles the Willy Wonka Experience, referencing a disappointing event in Glasgow earlier this year.

The backlash hasn’t stopped the release of part of the line-up for the venue. Eurovision 2022 winners Kalush Orchestra, Finland’s 2021 entrant Käärijä, and France’s 2023 Junior Eurovision winner Zoé are all set to perform. Representing the UK this year is Olly Alexander, who has described participating in the contest as a “risky” move. Despite the potential for harsh judgment, Alexander also finds it fun and enjoys the element of risk.

While the stage set-up has received criticism, fans are still eagerly anticipating the Eurovision contest and the performances it will bring.
