BEYOND PARADISE: Fans Devastated as Hit BBC Show Ends Too Soon

Beyond Paradise, the popular BBC show loved by Death in Paradise fans, has left viewers wanting more. The second season, which has captivated audiences with the family affairs of Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) and Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton), is set to conclude with their long-awaited wedding. However, the stressed couple may not be able to go through with it. Martha’s mother, Anne (Barbara Flynn), has meticulously planned a lavish ceremony, but it seems the big day has arrived too quickly.

Fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment at the show’s limited number of episodes. Many believe that each season should consist of at least eight installments, rather than the current six. Debbie Blackman, a fan on X (formerly Twitter), expressed her shock, saying, “Stunned there is only six episodes. Far too few #BeyondParadise.” Suz echoed this sentiment, stating, “This needed to be more than six episodes. And definitely series 3 as last episode next week #BeyondParadise.” James Lowe added, “Can not believe it’s the last episode next week #BeyondParadise.”

The outcry has also spread to Facebook, where Lynn Chubb shared her disappointment, writing, “My favorite show. Such a shame there were only 6 episodes in this run. Please can we have more in the next series, I really look forward to watching on Friday nights!” Viewers like Jayne Shelley and Lizzy Raymer expressed similar sentiments, with Jayne stating, “I wish there were more episodes!” and Lizzy saying, “Another great episode! It’s such a shame it’s the last in the series though next Friday. I wish they could be longer!”

As fans eagerly await the season finale, the BBC has teased what’s to come: “With bride and groom running around, and thieves running amok in Shipton Abbott, can the team wrap everything up in time to mark Humphrey and Martha’s long-awaited union, or does fate have other plans?”
