Nadine is making a comeback! EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick has spilled the beans on his close relationship with co-star Jazzy Phoenix, who recently returned to the show as Nadine Keller. Nadine made a dramatic entrance by dropping the bombshell that she is pregnant with Jay Brown’s baby, played by Jamie. This is the first time viewers have seen Nadine since October 2023, when she provided comfort to Jay after the death of his wife Lola. Their bond soon turned into something more intimate.
Despite not seeing each other for months, Jamie and Jazzy have remained close friends. Jamie revealed, “From her first spell, she’s never left! I’ve seen her probably three times a week since she’s gone. We’re great pals. We’re really close, so it was lovely to have her back in work.” Jazzy is highly regarded by the cast and everyone loves her. It was a special moment for Jamie and Jazzy to work together again.
However, Jay is not as thrilled about Nadine’s return. He starts to doubt whether he is actually the father of her baby. Their doubts lead to an argument, but Nadine eventually reveals that they are expecting a baby girl. Jay promises to be there for Nadine and their daughter, and he even hands over some money to support them.
