Donnie Wahlberg, member of the iconic boy band New Kids on the Block, spilled the beans about his unique sleeping arrangement with wife Jenny McCarthy on “The Drew Barrymore Show” this week. Despite their busy schedules that often take them to different locations, the couple has found a way to stay connected – they sleep on FaceTime together. Wahlberg, 54, explained that while he is away in New York filming “Blue Bloods,” McCarthy, 51, is in LA working on “The Masked Singer.” But distance doesn’t stop them from cuddling up virtually. “We now have the luxury of being able to sleep together when we’re apart,” Wahlberg shared. “So whoever’s going to sleep first just calls the other one.” This unconventional sleepover routine is not born out of insecurity, but rather out of love. “It’s like, why not? Right?” Wahlberg said. “We’re going to miss each other, why wake up saying, ‘Oh my God, I missed you. I woke up at three in the morning.'”

The couple’s FaceTime sleepovers are just one example of the strong bond they share. Wahlberg recently renewed their vows in celebration of their seventh wedding anniversary. He took to Instagram to express his love and gratitude for McCarthy, writing, “I love you more than ever, Mrs. Wahlberg. To be blessed with a partner whose goal is to make sure that I love myself more and more each day – is to be truly blessed.” McCarthy also gushed about her husband, praising him for his consistent romantic gestures. “He’s never missed a Monday, in 10 years. He treats me like a queen,” she revealed. “He’s my everything. He still gives me butterflies. He’s the love of my life.”

Wahlberg and McCarthy’s love story began in 2012 when they first met as guests on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” They started dating the following year and tied the knot in 2014. Prior to their relationship, Wahlberg was married to Kimberly Fey from 1999 to 2010, with whom he shares two sons. McCarthy was previously married to John Asher from 1999 to 2005, and they have a 21-year-old son together.

While their long-distance careers may keep them physically apart, Wahlberg and McCarthy have found creative ways to maintain their connection. In addition to their FaceTime sleepovers, Wahlberg keeps the romance alive by sending his wife flowers every week. Their love story serves as a reminder that distance is no match for true love and that finding unique ways to stay connected can make all the difference.
