CORRIE’S BERNIE WINTER’S DESPERATE SEARCH FOR LONG LOST SON

Coronation Street’s Bernie Winter (played by Jane Hazlegrove) has been through a tough time lately, as she comes to terms with her son Paul Foreman’s (Peter Ash) devastating diagnosis of MND. The stress has taken its toll on Bernie, and now she’s behaving strangely, according to shocking spoilers revealed by ITV.

In the upcoming episodes, Bernie has been lying to her daughter Gemma Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) about where she’s been. But Gemma isn’t fooled and decides to investigate. She turns to Bernie’s boyfriend Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) for help.

Dev, who is no stranger to Bernie’s wild schemes, is expecting another one of her excuses. However, he is stunned to discover that Bernie has been hiding a secret child all these years.

Bernie reveals to Dev that she had a third baby, named Zodiac (Zac for short), who was taken into care. Determined to find her long lost son, Bernie has been compiling a list of men named Christopher Green, believing that her son’s name was changed after adoption.

But Bernie’s hopes are shattered when she discovers that the last man on her list has passed away from cancer. This devastating news sends Bernie spiraling, and she turns to alcohol to cope with her grief.

Actress Jane, who portrays Bernie, admits that the search for her son is like finding a needle in a haystack. However, Bernie is determined to continue her quest, fueled by the return of her ex, Gemma and Paul’s father Denny (Danny Cunningham), and Paul’s terminal condition.

Will Bernie ever find her long lost son? Stay tuned to Coronation Street to find out.

Actress shares heartbreaking revelation about upcoming Coronation Street storyline

In a shocking interview, an actress from Coronation Street has opened up about the emotional turmoil her character will face in the coming episodes. The star, who plays Bernie, revealed that her character’s past will come back to haunt her, causing immense pain and distress.

“It was Denny turning up and raking up things from the past and also the fact that Paul is terminally ill, she’s counting down the months and it’s brought back so many things that she just doesn’t want to think about,” the actress confided.

According to the actress, Denny’s reappearance has triggered a cycle of emotions for Bernie. She knows that he won’t be understanding or sympathetic about her situation. Moreover, there is a fear that he might reveal a shocking secret to the entire family, causing further chaos.

“There are interesting times ahead for Bernie,” she acknowledges. “If she doesn’t find him then she’s going to be sad. If she does find him, it could go one of two ways, couldn’t it? So she’s adding an extra layer to an already difficult time for the family, typical Bernie creating more problems.”
