In a thrilling episode of the popular BBC show Bargain Hunt, viewers were left amazed by the incredible finds made by the contestants. Presenter Caroline Hawley led the way as couples Mike and Nina, and Valerie and Paulie, embarked on a hunt for bargain antiques.

Guided by experts Tim Hall and Tim Weeks, each team was given £300 and just one hour to search for hidden treasures. The red team, consisting of Nina and Mike, managed to snag a white painted cast iron table for a mere £55. They also acquired a pair of oak candle stands for £75 and a Tower of London metal sign for only £19.

The auctioneer, Hugo Lemon, was on hand to sell the items, and the red team’s table fetched an impressive £70, while the candles sold for £80 and the Tower of London sign went for £35.

Meanwhile, the blue team, made up of Valerie and Paulie, scored a shabby chic vintage stepladder for £15 and a Japanese space gun for £28. They also managed to secure a 20th-century pewter cocktail shaker and soda siphon for £75.

At the auction, the stepladder was sold for £25, the gun fetched £30, and the cocktail shaker combo went for an impressive £80.

When the teams returned to Caroline, they were met with fantastic news. She announced that every single item had made a profit, much to the delight of the contestants. The red and blue players rejoiced, shouting “Golden gavels!” in celebration.

In the end, it was Mike and Nina who emerged as the winners, with an overall profit of £78. However, Caroline commended the blue team for their profit of £24 and presented both teams with a Golden Gavel, praising their exceptional performance.
