Alex Cooper, host of the popular “Call Her Daddy” podcast, is getting ready to walk down the aisle. The 29-year-old, who got engaged to Hollywood producer Matt Kaplan last year, is now starring in a steamy new Skims campaign alongside her fiancé. Kim Kardashian’s brand recently launched its Wedding Shop, featuring a collection of romantic corsets, stylish dresses, and lacy undergarments. In the campaign, Cooper channels a 1960s Vegas bride, with her bottom lashes coated in heavy mascara and her blonde hair styled in a beehive-inspired ‘do.
“I’ve always been a fan of Skims, so when they asked me to be a part of their campaign, I was thrilled,” said Cooper, who previously worked for Barstool Sports. “The Skims Wedding Shop couldn’t have come at a better time, and being involved in the launch just adds to the excitement of my upcoming wedding,” she added. Cooper expressed her excitement about wearing many of the pieces from the collection during her wedding weekend and honeymoon.
Shot by renowned photographer Ellen von Unwerth, the campaign also features Cooper and Kaplan posing with their adorable dog, Henry. In one photo, Cooper models a white bra and lacy underwear, while another image shows the couple getting steamy inside a photobooth, with Cooper wearing a white lace onesie. The former soccer star also seductively poses on a couch with her future husband, donning a snowy satin corset. She then switches into a pair of satin underwear that reads “future wifey.”
Fans can shop the Skims Wedding Shop collection starting March 28 at 12 p.m. ET on Skims.com. Cooper previously shared the romantic details of Kaplan’s proposal in an interview with W magazine in April 2023. The influencer described how her entire house was filled with candles and music, and a scavenger hunt led her to the moment when Kaplan got down on one knee. The couple had collected photos and mementos from their relationship, which were placed in every room of their Los Angeles mansion. The proposal ended with Kaplan presenting Cooper with a vintage, 1920s oval-cut engagement ring.
Cooper and Kaplan are set to tie the knot in 2024, and with the Skims Wedding Shop collection, Cooper is sure to make a stunning bride.
