ANTON and Giovanni are set to embark on a thrilling adventure in Spain. The dynamic duo, known for their close friendship both on and off screen, have decided to jet off to Anton’s mother’s native country. The exciting new show, titled “Anton and Giovanni’s Adventure in Spain,” will premiere on Monday, March 18, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9pm.
In a recent interview with the Radio Times, Giovanni revealed that this trip to Spain would be his first time visiting the country. The pair also made an interesting discovery during their time there – they had been doing the paso doble dance “wrong” all this time. Giovanni explained, “We also tried some Spanish dancing and realised that the paso doble we do doesn’t match what they do. We looked at each other like, ‘We’ve been doing something wrong.'”
Despite their dancing differences, Anton and Giovanni share a strong bond and aren’t afraid to show their affection for each other. Giovanni humorously stated, “We dance together, we don’t care what people think. If I want to kiss Anton, I’ll kiss Anton and he’ll kiss me – he’s only human.”
Fans of the duo will be thrilled to see them back on screen, as their first season in Italy was a huge success. Anton is particularly excited about the show’s appeal to a wide audience, stating, “If you’re going to make a television show that represents the audience that watch it, which is everybody in the country, then it needs to include everybody.”
