OUR YORKSHIRE FARM’S AMANDA OWEN NEVER SWITCHES OFF FROM WORK
In a candid interview about her family life, Amanda Owen, the shepherdess from Our Yorkshire Farm, revealed that she never really switches off from work. The TV star, known for her showbiz life, finds solace from the windswept hillside of Ravenseat. Speaking to Times Radio, the mother-of-nine shared that she starts her day early, getting a few tasks done before heading off. This includes “telling a few children off” and “micromanaging”. Amanda added that she spends a lot of time managing things, hoping that nothing goes wrong.
Even when she is away from the farm, Amanda’s mind is still occupied with work. She admitted, “Yeah, it’s all kind of logged in there, I’m not a great list person so there isn’t a huge masterplan.” The shepherdess explained that she has raised her children to be independent and capable of handling tasks on their own. She said, “So they do have the tasks, they do have the jobs, they do a lot for themselves.” When it comes to co-parenting with her ex-husband Clive, Amanda mentioned that he oversees things while she juggles multiple responsibilities. “You have to juggle, don’t you? I’m spinning plates, me,” she added.
Amanda has nine children named Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine, and Nancy. She expressed her pride in her offspring, particularly her eldest daughter Raven, who recently celebrated her 23rd birthday. On Instagram, Amanda also praised her eldest son Reuben for the success of his new show called Reuben: Life in the Dales. Sharing a heartwarming photo of the two, she wrote, “So proud of big lad @reubenowen74 He’s a star.”
After the conclusion of Our Yorkshire Farm, Amanda Owen hosted a spin-off series called Amanda Owen’s Farming Lives.
