Liv Morgan’s Unexpected Journey to WWE Stardom Revealed!

In a surprising turn of events, Liv Morgan has shared how her time at Hooters paved the way for her incredible rise to becoming a WWE superstar on Raw and SmackDown.

The 29-year-old wrestler, who signed a developmental deal in 2014, made her NXT debut later that year and worked her way up to becoming a former world champion.

Growing up as a fan of the business, Liv’s passion for wrestling shone through during her days at Hooters. She would often have WWE playing on the TV screens while serving customers and even wore WWE merchandise during her shifts.

It was during this time that Liv caught the attention of an unnamed wrestler who used to manage the sports bar/restaurant chain. Whenever they were in town, they would make it a point to visit Liv’s branch.

Excitedly, Liv shared, “I saw this wrestler come into Hooters and I knew exactly who they were. So I introduced myself and my manager suggested that they talk to me because they knew I loved wrestling.”

Liv’s knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport impressed the wrestler, who then introduced her to Joe DeFranco, a highly regarded strength and conditioning coach.

Eager to make her dreams come true, Liv visited DeFranco’s gym and embarked on her first-ever workouts. Despite being a complete novice, she gave it her all and refused to give up.

“I had never worked out before in my life. I didn’t even know what workout gear was. I think I wore sweatpants and a sports bra,” Liv admitted. “In my mind, this was like my WWE tryout, so I gave it my all.”

Impressed by her determination and resilience, DeFranco recommended Liv to WWE. However, she had just missed a tryout camp. Undeterred, Liv spent the next six months dedicating hours each day to honing her skills.

“I would train with DeFranco in the morning and then go to my Hooters shifts. Finally, my tryout came, and I was incredibly prepared,” Liv recounted. “Not in wrestling, of course, because I had no wrestling training, but in terms of strength and conditioning. I absolutely crushed those cardio drills, and I got signed. It was the craziest blessing of my life.”

Liv Morgan’s inspiring journey from Hooters to WWE is a true testament to her determination and passion for the sport. She has proven that with hard work and dedication, dreams can indeed come true.
