WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, known as Good Ol’ JR, was rushed to the hospital on Thursday due to breathing difficulties. The 72-year-old iconic broadcaster, who was the voice of the Attitude Era, has been battling various health issues in recent years. Ross, who is also involved with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), has been receiving treatment for skin cancer, which he successfully overcame in 2021. On Thursday, he announced on social media that he was taken to the ER unexpectedly but did not provide any further details about his condition.

Wrestlers from both WWE and AEW sent their prayers and messages of support to Jim Ross. AEW’s Dax Harwood expressed his love and sent prayers, while Thunder Rosa hoped that Ross’s condition is not serious. Lance Archer and WWE legend Shane ‘The Hurricane’ Helms also offered their support. This health setback comes after Ross had previously broken his hip and was using a cane for mobility.

Jim Ross’s battle with health issues began in October 2021 when he was diagnosed with skin cancer. He underwent radiation treatments and eventually became cancer-free. However, he has continued to receive treatment for wounds related to the radiation. Ross has been open about his struggles and has regularly updated his fans on social media, expressing gratitude for their support.
