BBC drama Waterloo Road is set to make a comeback for another series, according to actor Adam Thomas. The 35-year-old, known for his roles in Emmerdale and I’m a Celeb, shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram, showing a cameraman holding a clapperboard with yesterday’s date. This hinted that filming for the seventh episode is currently underway. Thomas also teased the return of a fan favourite character, Tom Clarkson, played by Jason Done. Fans were left puzzled, as Clarkson’s character died in 2013 after falling off the school roof while trying to help a troubled student. However, some speculated that Clarkson could return as a twin or through the introduction of his brother. The fourteenth season of Waterloo Road is expected to be released in early summer, with Jason Manford joining the cast as the new headteacher, Steve Savage.
