This Morning host Dermot O’Leary has left fans stunned as he celebrated his birthday on the show, appearing at least ten years younger than his actual age. The star turned 51, and his celebrity friends, including comedian Romesh Ranganathan, sent warm wishes via videolink. However, it was his co-star Alison Hammond who accidentally revealed his true age, although she couldn’t resist teasing that she is a couple of years behind him. Despite turning 51, Dermot’s youthful appearance had viewers taking to Twitter to express their disbelief, with many commenting that he looks no older than 40. Vanessa Feltz even went as far as saying she sees him as more like 27.
Fans were also puzzled by Dermot’s decision to work on his birthday, questioning why he didn’t take the day off like his co-star Alison. Some even wondered if Dermot had enough money to afford a day off. However, Dermot has previously attributed his youthful looks to his relationship with his producer wife Dee Koppang. The couple has been married for over 12 years and has a toddler son named Kaspar, who Dermot admits can be quite energetic. Despite the challenges of fatherhood, it seems to be keeping Dermot lively and maintaining his youthful appearance.
