Former “Vanderpump Rules” stars Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor were unable to attend Stassi Schroeder’s wedding in Italy due to their son Cruz’s delayed passport. The bride, Schroeder, took to Instagram to seemingly shade her former co-stars by sharing a photo of her 8-month-old son Messer’s passport. Social media users have been quick to comment on the situation, with some criticizing Cartwright and Taylor for not handling Cruz’s passport sooner. However, others defended the couple, pointing out that passport processing times can be unpredictable.
CARTWRIGHT OPENS UP ABOUT PASSPORT PROBLEM
In a July 2022 episode of Scheana Shay’s podcast “Scheananigans,” Brittany Cartwright discussed the passport problem that prevented her and Jax Taylor from attending Stassi Schroeder’s wedding. Cartwright revealed that her mom was unable to attend the wedding in Taylor’s place due to a friend’s sudden death. It is worth noting that both Cartwright and Taylor were present when Schroeder and her husband Beau Clark initially tied the knot in 2020.
STASSI SCHROEDER ADDRESSES THE ABSENCE OF CARTWRIGHT AND TAYLOR
In a June 2023 episode of “The Toast,” Stassi Schroeder opened up about her feelings regarding Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s absence from her wedding. Schroeder expressed that she felt hurt by their actions and that it had impacted her trust in them. While she stated that she was “over it,” Schroeder made it clear that she didn’t feel the need to reconcile and become close friends with them again.
A GLIMMER OF HOPE FOR RECONCILIATION
Despite their past differences, Stassi Schroeder and Brittany Cartwright appeared to have put their issues aside in April. Both attended Scheana Shay’s daughter Summer’s 3rd birthday party and even posed for a photo together. Schroeder is also a mother to daughter Hartford, while Cartwright and Taylor were trying for their second child before their separation in February.
