EastEnders star Shane Richie couldn’t contain his joy as he celebrated his daughter’s milestone birthday. The actor, best known for his role as Alfie Moon on the soap, took to Instagram to share a series of photos of his daughter Romanie-Skye, who turned 13. In one post, he shared a collage of throwback pictures, reminiscing about how quickly time has flown. “In a blink of an eye, our baby girl is officially a teenager,” he wrote. “Happy 13th birthday to our Romanie-Skye. Roro, our little love, you are not only brilliant and beautiful, funny and clever but most importantly you are huge hearted, kind souled, and emotionally mature way beyond your years.”
Shane and his wife, actress Christie Goddard, have three children together. Alongside Romanie-Skye, they have Mackenzie Blue, 18, and Lolita Bell, 16. The couple has been open about their desire to expand their family further through adoption and fostering. Prior to his marriage to Christie, Shane was married to Loose Women personality Coleen Nolan from 1990 to 1999. They share two children, 35-year-old Shane Roche Jr and 31-year-old Jake Roche. Despite their love for each other, the couple’s busy schedules led to the end of their marriage.
