ITV viewers were treated to a special appearance on Loose Women as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak joined the panel. During the conversation, he discussed the government’s plans for sex education in schools, which will involve new guidance and no teaching of the subject to pupils under the age of nine.

Kaye Adams kicked off the interview by asking Rishi if he enjoys watching Loose Women. He stumbled over his answer, but Judi Love encouraged him to give a genuine response rather than a political one. Eventually, Rishi admitted that being on the show was quite intimidating.

Janet Street-Porter didn’t hold back and asked the Prime Minister why he hates pensioners, referring to the cut in national insurance instead of tax. Rishi continued to dismiss the idea that he would quit Parliament and move to the United States if he loses the general election.

As the segment came to an end, Kaye Adams urged Rishi to wrap up, but he continued to share his thoughts. The panel eventually had to cut him off as he exceeded his allotted time. After the break, Jane Moore commented that Rishi appeared relaxed and seemed to enjoy himself during the chat.

Judi Love also questioned Rishi about his own experience with sex education, to which he claimed not to remember. He emphasized the importance of allowing kids to be kids and ensuring that parents are aware of what is being taught in sensitive subjects. Rishi believes that parents should always have the right to know what their children are learning at school.

Loose Women airs on ITV and ITVX on weekdays at 12:30pm.
