Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday World Tour Faces Uncertain Future After Amsterdam “Arrest” for Drug Possession

Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated Pink Friday World Tour may be in jeopardy following her alleged “arrest” in Amsterdam for drug possession. The rapper, who has been breaking records and selling out arenas across America, could be forced to postpone her European dates.

The incident occurred after Minaj’s performance in the Netherlands when she was detained at Schiphol Airport, just hours before her scheduled show at Manchester’s new Co-op Live. In a series of posts on X, Minaj claimed that her luggage was taken and searched without her consent.

Despite vehemently denying the allegations, the star went as far as live-streaming her interaction with the police. It is still unclear whether Minaj was officially questioned or charged, but the 41-year-old expressed her frustration on Instagram just moments before going live.

Co-op Live, the venue for her Manchester show, has since made an announcement regarding the change in door opening times. Fans who were initially expecting the doors to open at 6:30 pm will now have to wait until 7:00 pm.

However, despite the uncertainty, fans remain hopeful and are eagerly anticipating Minaj’s Manchester show. Social media platforms, such as X, have been flooded with messages of support and encouragement for the rapper.

@Zakhari__ expressed their belief that if Minaj was unable to perform, the show would have been canceled by now. @SilentPenPoet assured fans to be patient as Minaj is still expected to make an appearance. @cherrypinkyb sent a message directly to Minaj, expressing their concern for her safety and letting her know that they are eagerly waiting for her.
