An elderly man in Homer, Alaska met a tragic end when he was kicked to death by a cow moose while attempting to capture pictures of two adorable newborn calves. The incident occurred on Sunday, when the cow moose charged at two men, ultimately delivering a fatal kick to one of them. The Alaska Department of Public Safety reported that medics arrived at the scene just before noon, but unfortunately, they were unable to save the man who had been attacked. The victim has since been identified as Dale Chorman, a 70-year-old resident of Homer. Austin McDaniel, a spokesperson for the department, shared that the attack took place as the men were exploring the area in search of the moose. The cow moose swiftly retreated from the scene, leaving authorities to conduct an ongoing investigation into this tragic animal attack.
