ITALIAN MAN STABS WIFE AND CHILDREN BEFORE BARRICADING HIMSELF IN HOME
A horrifying incident unfolded today in the town of Cianciana, Italy, as a 35-year-old man stabbed his wife and two children before barricading himself inside their home. The attack took place during an argument between the couple, according to local media reports.
The children, a seven-year-old boy and his slightly older sister, suffered multiple stab wounds. The boy’s injuries are particularly severe, with multiple blows to the abdomen. He was airlifted to a hospital in Palermo for urgent medical treatment. Fortunately, his sister was also rushed to the same hospital and is now safe.
While the mother also sustained stab wounds, her condition is not considered life-threatening. Despite her injuries, she managed to escape with her son, carrying him down the stairs and fleeing outside. Tragically, her daughter remained trapped inside the house with her father.
After hours of negotiations with the police, the father finally released his daughter. The man’s identity remains unknown, and it is unclear whether he has been apprehended by the authorities. Currently, he is still hiding inside their residence near Piazza Bellini.
