Heartbroken family pays tribute to “beautiful mum” after her tragic death. Rachel McDaid, a 53-year-old mother of three, was found by emergency services on Nottingham Road, Eastwood. A 60-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody. The family expressed their devastation over the sudden loss of their beloved mother, daughter, sister, auntie, and cousin, stating that they are unable to come to terms with the fact that they will never see her beautiful face and smile again. They described the void left by Rachel’s absence as irreparable and shared that they were a close-knit family who enjoyed sharing jokes and precious time together. Nottinghamshire Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward. Detective Chief Inspector Clare Dean expressed her condolences to the family and assured them that the police are doing everything possible to bring them justice.
