Lorraine Kelly Mocks Jeremy Clarkson as He’s Voted UK’s Sexiest Man Again

Lorraine Kelly couldn’t help but take a swipe at Jeremy Clarkson after it was revealed that he has been named the UK’s sexiest man for the second year in a row. The news was announced on Lorraine’s show this morning, where she surprised viewers by showing a picture of her fellow broadcaster. “That’s Jeremy Clarkson, who has been named by one dating website as the UK’s sexiest man. Yes, yes, I know?! For the second time in a row,” Lorraine said, followed by laughter. She then went on to express her love for Clarkson’s Farm.

Lorraine also listed the other contenders who Jeremy beat to claim the title, including Tom Holland in second place and Prince William in third. However, she was particularly shocked that Idris Elba didn’t win. “So there you have it,” Lorraine continued. “There’s no accounting for taste. It’ll give him a good laugh.” In the poll conducted by IllicitEncounters, Jeremy received a high ranking with nine out of 10 points from 2,000 members of the website.

Piers Morgan, who was also part of the poll, expressed his disbelief after realizing that he had fallen down the ranks alongside Prince Harry. He took to his platform X page to share the news, writing: “WTF” with an angry emoji. In a follow-up post, Piers couldn’t resist making a jab at Prince Harry, saying: “UPDATE: Apparently, Prince Harry came 47th, seven places below me. Suddenly, I feel a lot sexier.”

Ed Balls, the host of Good Morning Britain, was also shocked by the news when he heard it from Sean Fletcher on the show. “I’m beginning to think we’re doing it wrong Ed,” Sean said. “Because I haven’t been modeling myself on Clarkson at all. Have you? Should I?” Ed expressed his confusion, saying: “I don’t understand it. Are we talking about being sexy? And Jeremy Clarkson is the sexiest? It’s like saying that I’m the fittest 20-year-old in the world. It stretches credulity!”

Ranvir Singh, Ed’s co-star, was equally puzzled by the title and suggested that having “a little gut and walking around on a farm” might be what appealed to the voters. She added, “Each to their own. There is someone out there for everybody. That’s what I believe. I’m astonished it made the news, but it is, in fact, quite newsworthy.”

Last year, IllicitEncounters spokesperson Jessica Leoni commented on Jeremy’s win, saying: “With the wax jacket and tweed shirt, clearly Clarkson’s bad-boy farm vibe is working for the over 30s.”

“Landing the top spot in our table won’t earn him a penny, but I bet it’ll give him something to boast about down at the farm.

Last year’s runner-up, football pundit Gary Lineker, didn’t even make the cut this time around.

We also saw some notable departures from the latest Top 10, including Mike Tindall, who plummeted from 3rd to 29th, and Ryan Reynolds, who dropped from 4th to 26th.
