Born in Blackburn, Lancashire, Lee Gordon McKillop, as he was originally named, has always kept his private life relatively quiet. However, during his appearances on the hit show Would I Lie To You?, it’s often difficult to distinguish between truth and lie when it comes to Lee’s outrageous claims.
Lee rose to fame in the early 2000s with the creation and starring role in the sitcom Not Going Out. Since then, he has graced our screens in various shows such as Taskmaster and Duck Quacks Don’t Echo. Currently, he can be seen hosting the gameshow The 1% Club on ITV1.
One interesting fact about Lee is his claim of having Attention Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Although this has never been officially diagnosed, Lee describes it as having multiple radio channels playing in his mind simultaneously. Moving on to his personal life, Lee is happily married to Tara McKillop. The couple met while studying at Brunel University in 1996 and tied the knot in 2005, long before Lee’s rise to fame. In a recent podcast episode, Lee shared a funny anecdote about how someone assumed they got together after he became a comedian and had money. But in reality, they met before his comedy career took off, proving that true love knows no fame or fortune.

LEE MACK: DOES HE HAVE CHILDREN?
Comedian and actor Lee Mack, best known for creating and starring in the popular BBC sitcom Not Going Out, is a proud father of three. Lee and his wife Tara have three children together – Millie, Louie, and Arlo. Interestingly, their youngest child, Arlo, was born a year before their wedding in 2005.
Arlo even made a special appearance in a 2013 episode of Not Going Out, which happened to be the show’s Christmas special. However, despite their father’s fame, the Mack children are not particularly interested in watching his work. Lee revealed, “They’re really not bothered whether it’s on or not. My wife doesn’t really watch it, and although my eldest has just started to, it’s not his favorite show by a long way – and why would it be?”
Lee further shared that the only feedback he receives from his eldest is the occasional slightly arched eyebrow if he likes one of his character’s jokes. In Lee’s house, that’s considered high praise! It seems like Lee’s children have their own unique interests and preferences, and they don’t feel obligated to be avid viewers of their dad’s sitcom.
