Kyle Cooke is fuming over Craig Conover’s investment in Spritz Society, a rival to his own canned cocktail company, Loverboy. The “Summer House” star expressed his frustration on “Watch What Happens Live” when host Andy Cohen brought up the topic of their competing businesses. Cooke downplayed any animosity, stating that the situation had been blown out of proportion and that the media was unfairly referencing him. However, he did mention that Loverboy outsells Spritz five times over, despite their focus on sparkling hard teas rather than spritzes. Cooke criticized Conover’s handling of the situation, accusing him of lying. He also revealed that the founder of Spritz Society, Ben Soffer, had failed to disclose the partnership during a dinner with Cooke just days before the announcement.

Cooke labeled Spritz Society as a copycat and criticized Conover’s move as “kind of wack.” The following day, Soffer’s wife, Claudia Oshry, responded to Cooke’s claims on her podcast, “The Toast.” She dismissed Cooke as a “loser” who lied on TV. Oshry explained that Conover had approached them about investing in Spritz Society after trying their drinks and expressing his admiration. She emphasized that the investment had nothing to do with Cooke or Loverboy, as multiple canned cocktail companies coexist successfully. Oshry revealed that Conover had even offered to invest in Loverboy instead if Cooke declined the partnership, but Cooke turned him down. She accused Cooke of dishonesty for calling Conover a liar on the show while omitting this crucial conversation. Oshry defended Soffer against Cooke’s claim that he had gathered information from him during their dinner, stating that it was a mature and friendly conversation.

Oshry criticized Cooke for his inability to define Loverboy’s identity as a company, even suggesting that they would sell urine if they could. She later admitted that her comment was mean and retracted it. Oshry also alleged that Cooke had previously purchased an item from Spritz Society, providing a receipt as evidence, while stating that she had never tried any Loverboy products. She concluded that there is room for all of them in the market and that there is no need for insults. Despite Cooke and Conover not being particularly close, Oshry expressed her dissatisfaction with the situation.

Reality TV star Craig Conover recently revealed his excitement for the wine-based drink called Spritz Society. In an interview, he expressed his enthusiasm, describing it as a great and fun summer beverage. Conover, who is the owner of Sewing Down South, also shared his admiration for Kyle Cooke’s hard work in promoting his brand, Loverboy. Conover mentioned that he had a conversation with Cooke before making his announcement and expressed his interest in investing in Loverboy. However, due to certain circumstances, he was unable to do so. Despite this, Conover emphasized his respect for Cooke and his team, stating that he will always be a fan of Loverboy. Conover, who is currently based in Charleston and starring in a different show, is excited to bring Spritz Society to the area.
