Scottish TV presenter Jenni Falconer, 48, is famous for her travel segments on This Morning and her association with the National Lottery. But she’s not the only well-known person in her family. Jenni is married to actor James Midgley, and they have a daughter together named Ella, who was born in 2011.
In 2010, Jenni and James, 46, got married at Babington House in Somerset. James, who was born in Bradford and also works for a film company, has appeared in popular British TV shows like Heartbeat and The Bill. He played two different characters in Heartbeat from 2006 to 2009 and portrayed Colin Grogan in The Bill in 2004. His most notable role was in 2016 when he had an extended run in Coronation Street as Richie O’Driscoll.
Jenni recently shared a story about how she met her husband. At the time, she was working on GMTV and he was playing a gay hairdresser on the BBC drama, Cutting It. Despite both being in other relationships, they had a flirtation. They met again months later at the National TV Awards, and this time they really hit it off. Jenni even declared that she had found the man she was going to marry.
