As the celebrities averted their eyes from the TV, Jane, 61, turned to her best friend and former backing singer, Sue Ravey, with a curious question. “Do you remember your first time?” she asked. Sue nonchalantly replied, “No, it’s been too long.” Jane then revealed her own experience, saying, “Mine were in the back of a Vauxhall. No hang on, one of those vans, and someone was nicking petrol out of it at the time.”
