Fans were left puzzled during a recent episode of Beat The Chasers on ITV when Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess, did not make an appearance. Viewers took to social media to express their confusion and concern about Anne’s absence. It was later revealed that Anne was unable to attend and was replaced by fellow Australian quiz master Issa Schultz, also known as ‘The Super Nerd.’ Fans expressed their hopes for Anne’s well-being and wondered what had happened to her. Despite the unexpected change, Issa Schultz did a commendable job and was well-liked by the audience.

During the episode, the first two contestants came close to beating The Chasers but ultimately fell short. However, the third contestant, Jackie, who works as an Agony Aunt, managed to walk away with an impressive £25,000 prize after a nail-biting performance. Fourth contestant Steven also won £25,000 and displayed great knowledge, even though he turned down the opportunity to potentially win half a million pounds by facing all five Chasers.

In a separate episode of The Chasers, fans were left frustrated when one contestant’s actions cost them a thrilling victory. After accumulating a substantial amount of money in the cash-builder round, all four contestants made it to the final, increasing their chances of beating The Chaser. However, one contestant from Glasgow named Stuart repeatedly pressed his buzzer before the questions were fully read, causing confusion and preventing other contestants from answering. This resulted in a final score of 14 questions, much to the disappointment of viewers.

Beat The Chasers airs on ITV and ITVX at 9pm. Stay tuned for more updates on this thrilling quiz show.
