I’m A Celebrity and First Dates star Fred Siriex has expressed his desire to join the cast of EastEnders. The TV personality, known for his role as a maître d on the Channel 4 show, has even come up with his own storyline for the soap. Fred shared his excitement, saying, “That’d be amazing. That would be fantastic. [I’d love to be in] EastEnders. I can see myself, I’ve already written the lines actually.”
Fred revealed that if given the opportunity, he would like to play a gangster character who meets a tragic end. “We just arrive there and then, I get killed,” he said. Clearly enthusiastic about his idea, Fred added, “And there’s lots of things happening in between but at the end, I get killed and disappear and never be seen again in the square.”
In addition to his role on First Dates, Fred is also known for his appearances on the ITV travel show Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip, where he embarks on adventures with Gino D’Campo and Gordon Ramsay.
Fred, who previously participated in I’m A Celebrity, is no stranger to the world of entertainment. Reflecting on his career in the restaurant industry, he compared it to acting, stating, “We’re all a bit actors aren’t we? You’ve got to be all things for all people, and you’ve got to be there for your guests. So effectively, you’re kind of an actor, you’re putting on a show every single day. But yes, being an actor in a movie would be amazing.”
Meanwhile, in EastEnders, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) is set to have an eventful week as she gives birth after going into labor in a taco van. This marks Shona McGarty’s final storyline on the BBC One soap, as she will be leaving the show after 16 years.
