TWO SUSPECTED GANG MEMBERS ARRESTED FOR ATTACK ON IAN ZIERING

In a shocking turn of events, two individuals believed to be part of a notorious mini-bike gang have been apprehended for their alleged involvement in the viral New Year’s Eve traffic brawl that targeted actor Ian Ziering. Jacob Esteban Hernandez, 20, and Angie Tereza Guizar, 40, were taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department and are now facing charges of felony vandalism and assault with a deadly weapon, respectively.

The incident unfolded on Hollywood Boulevard on December 31, 2023, when Ziering, best known for his role in “Beverly Hills, 90210,” found himself in a confrontation with a group of bikers known as the 605 minibike gang. Shocking video footage captured the tense moments leading up to the attack, with Ziering seen arguing with one of the bikers while his 12-year-old daughter helplessly watched from inside their car.

As the situation escalated, Ziering was surrounded by at least four bikers who had stopped their vehicles in traffic. In the ensuing brawl, Ziering threw the first punch before fleeing from the pursuing group. Meanwhile, the riders proceeded to vandalize Ziering’s car, all while his daughter remained trapped inside, according to the LAPD.

The aftermath of the attack left Ziering’s $100K GLE SUV with a shattered windshield on the driver’s side and a completely destroyed passenger side-view mirror. Despite the harrowing experience, Ziering expressed relief that both he and his daughter emerged from the incident unharmed. In a statement, he voiced his concerns about the audacity of such groups that disrupt public safety and called for stronger law enforcement responses to combat such behavior.

Following the execution of search warrants at their homes in Rosemead, Calif., and Los Angeles, Hernandez and Guizar were taken into custody. The LAPD is now handing over the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which will determine whether formal charges will be filed against the suspects. Hernandez’s bail has been set at $50,000, while Guizar’s bail stands at $30,000. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the need to address hooliganism on the streets and ensure the safety and peace of both individuals and communities.
