During the show, Carol delivered some disappointing news about the weather, revealing that heavy rain would persist in certain parts of the UK, much to the dismay of viewers. Carol assured viewers that although the next few days would be cooler and cloudier, temperatures would rise just in time for the upcoming bank holiday weekend. After a busy few days at the Chelsea Flower Show, Carol returned to the BBC studio. Earlier in the week, she had joined Sally and Jon Kay at the floral event in London.
