Eamonn Holmes Bravely Battles Chronic Back Pain

In a courageous display of resilience, Eamonn Holmes, 64, has been enduring excruciating physio sessions on a near-daily basis to combat his chronic back pain. The popular TV star, known for his work on ITV’s GB News, sought treatment in London’s Notting Hill this week. Arriving with the aid of two walking sticks, Eamonn left the facility in a wheelchair.

According to a close source, Eamonn has been relying on walking aids for the past 18 months, and unfortunately, not much progress has been made. Despite the frustrations with the lack of improvement from physiotherapy, Eamonn remains dedicated to his rehabilitation, attending sessions almost every day. Although he experiences constant pain, he perseveres, fueled by his love for his work and his unwavering journalist spirit.

While working on GB News from Mondays to Wednesdays, Eamonn is able to find some relief by sitting down. However, last week he had a brief hospital visit after experiencing a “funny turn.” Fortunately, after being examined, he was cleared to return home.

In January, Eamonn, who is married to former This Morning co-host Ruth Langsford, 64, shared the harsh reality that he may never regain full mobility again after a series of back problems. Reflecting on his challenging journey, Eamonn revealed, “It’s as if somebody up there is playing with my life. In the past year, I’ve had an operation on my back which went wrong and confined me to a wheelchair. I’ve fallen and broken my shoulder. Honestly, you could not make it up. I have tried every treatment, but you go, ‘Maybe I’ll never get out of it.'”

Eamonn’s determination and unwavering spirit continue to inspire as he faces his ongoing battle with chronic back pain.
