DAVID WALLIAMS AVOIDS BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT QUESTIONS ON LIVE TV
In a recent appearance on Lorraine Kelly’s show, David Walliams found himself in an awkward situation when asked about Britain’s Got Talent and Simon Cowell. The comedian and author, who had been a part of the show for over a decade until his sudden departure in 2022, seemed hesitant to address the topic. Viewers couldn’t help but notice his discomfort.
During the interview, Lorraine inquired about Walliams’ current feelings towards the show, now that the new series is back on. “Britain’s Got Talent is on, how are you feeling about that? Do you watch, do you not watch? Are you a bit sorry about it all?” she asked. Walliams appeared taken aback by the unexpected question and struggled to find the right words to respond. Eventually, he admitted, “Well, I’ve been travelling a lot so I haven’t had a chance to see it.”
Clearly wanting to move on from the subject, the author quickly shifted the conversation towards his writing and filming projects, emphasizing his enjoyment in being creative. As for his thoughts on the current season of Britain’s Got Talent, Walliams remained tight-lipped.
