He stated that he has never denied her share of any community assets or income, and her allegations of collusion with third parties are completely false. Channing also mentioned that he has always kept Jenna informed about the financial updates of the lucrative male stripper franchise.
Jenna has filed a motion to handle the Magic Mike revenue as a separate issue from their divorce, requesting an additional trial. The pair’s disagreement over spousal support has also become a major point of contention. Channing argues that they were only married for a short period of time and separated over six years ago, making it unnecessary for Jenna to receive spousal support. He believes that she is using this request as a tactic to further delay their financial settlement.
While Jenna would be entitled to half of the community property, royalties, and other financial assets, Channing points out that she is also a successful industry professional herself. He highlights that the first Magic Mike movie, co-financed by him and director Steven Soderbergh, was a joint investment of $7 million (£5.57 million). Today, after the success of the franchise, it is worth a staggering $167 million (£133 million).
